Travelling home from the opal fields - Port Augusta
We left Andamooka and Roxby Downs on a 24 degree sunny day with blue skies wearing a pair of thongs. As we headed down to Port Augusta we could see the rain sweeping in over the Flinders Ranges. We decided Port Augusta would be a great place to stop to break up our journey back to the City. We had lovely modern accommodation at the Majestic Oasis Apartments and ate the yummiest chinese from the Golden Pearl rhoping to do some fishing with the girls but we couldn't explore as much as we hoped as some rainy weather set in.
